Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Our company representative will pick you up from your hotel or place of residence in Kampala or Entebbe, and you will embark for the first day of the three-day gorilla trekking tour in Bwindi. The travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, located in South Western Uganda, takes 8 to 9 hours and allows you to marvel at the luxuriant region with stunning green views. You will make a on route stop at the Equator crossing for photographs and small experiments before heading to Mbarara town for lunch. After lunch, you will take a picturesque journey to Bwindi National Park. You will arrive at your lodge in Bwindi in time for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Following an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the Park headquarters to register and join others for a gorilla trekking briefing on what to expect on the trip. Once this is completed, you will be divided into groups, with each group assigned ranger guides to assist with the trekking procedure, which can be rather difficult at times, particularly during the wet season. Locating the mountain gorillas can take anything from 30 minutes to many hours, depending on where they spent the night before.
The densely forested area is crisscrossed by numerous animal pathways that provide access to tourists. You’re likely to see other monkeys, birds, and unusual tree species along the way. After finding the gorillas, you will be able to spend one hour with them, watching them roam around, before returning to the park headquarters and then the lodge.

Day 3: Return to Kampala/Entebbe – Departure.
After breakfast, you will go back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport for your departure out. Before travelling to Kampala or Entebbe, you will stop at the Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch and a cultural experience. A post-tour lodging can be provided at an additional fee.
