Day 1: Arrival
When you arrive at Kigali International Airport, our tour guide will meet you and bring you to a hotel for rest and overnight before heading out into the countryside for adventure activities.

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park
Your safari guide will pick you up after breakfast and take you to Akagera National Park. You’ll stop for lunch on the way and then head to the park. When you arrive at the park, take a game drive along the Lake Circuit to see if you can identify creatures such as zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, and hippos, among others. Drive to the lodge, check in for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise
You wake up early, eat breakfast, and then go on a game drive around the plains in search of grazers and predators. The game drive begins at 6:30 a.m. to enhance your chances of seeing hunters such as lions and the rest of the Big 5, which include elephants, buffaloes, and, if you’re lucky, leopards. The trip leads you around the northern sector to Mutumba Hill, which provides amazing views of the landscape. Other animals spotted in the park include waterbucks, topis, elands, oribis, roan antelopes, duikers, and many more.
After your delicious lunch, drive back to the lodge to unwind and embark on a boat trip. An afternoon boat tour is one of the greatest methods to see a big number of animals around the lake’s beaches. Birds, hippos, and crocodiles are frequently seen throughout the boat cruise. Day 5: Gorilla Trekking – Visit Iby’iwacu Cultural Village
You get up early, usually around 6:00 a.m., and have breakfast. With a packed lunch and plenty of drinking water, you drive to the park headquarters for a briefing and group distribution. The walk begins at 8:00 a.m., with an armed ranger leading you through the forest to places where mountain gorillas are anticipated to be found. The duration of the trek is not explicitly stated, but is decided by how far the apes travel.
When you find the gorillas, you have an hour to spend with them, watch and learn about them before returning to headquarters. The driving guide will take you to the lodge after the trip and later in the evening. Visit the surrounding cultural village to have an exciting experience with the people.
