Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara.
Our tour guide will pick you from the airport or your place of residence in Nairobi, brief you on the tour and transfer you to Masai Mara National Reserve. Leave for Masai Mara at 8:30 a.m., making your first stop at the viewpoint to observe the escarpment wall. After descending the escarpment, proceed to Narok town for an early lunch. Around 1500 hours is when you will arrive at Mara Sopa Lodge. After checking in, you will go on an evening wildlife drive till the sunsets.

Day 2: Game Drive in Masai Mara.
After breakfast at the lodge, depart with a packed lunch by 8:00 am for a full nine hours of game viewing. You will be fortunate to view hundreds of species in the Masai Mara, which is home to the greatest number of species. A game drive to the Mara River is required; if it is migration season, you will see the same; if not, you will see hippos and crocodiles there. After a picnic lunch in the park, continue the game drive until 1700 hours. Leave the park for an optional activity that lasts at least two hours. You can explore the Masai community, go on a nature walk with Masai warriors, or just unwind at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Nakuru.
After breakfast, depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru, where you may enjoy a lunch buffet, a view of Mount Longonot, and, if you’d like, an extra excursion at Lake Naivasha. Game drives will take you to the lodge in Nakuru National Park, where you will check in for supper and an overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Naivasha.
After breakfast at the lodge, take a morning wildlife drive in the park, which is well-known for its flamingos and endangered animals. There are times when there aren’t many flamingos, but you can always count on seeing rhinos among the other Big Five. Since Lake Nakuru is not a large park, you will have seen plenty in four hours. After that, you will travel to Lake Naivasha and arrive at the lodge for lunch. Spend the afternoon taking advantage of the lodge’s amenities or visiting the flower farms near Naivasha. Overnight stay and dinner at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Amboseli National Park.
Drive to Hell’s Gate for a game drive after breakfast at the hotel. Since there are no predators in the park, this is the only area where people can walk. You will choose whether to rent a bicycle to ride the 11 kilometres down to the gorge or take the safari vehicle for the game drive. You will be accompanied by a guide to the gorge who will explain the various rock layers to you. After a late drive or bicycle return to the gate, depart Naivasha, stop for lunch along the way, and head to Amboseli National Park. It will be late when you get there. At Amboseli Sopa Lodge, drop off.

Day 6: Full Day in Amboseli National Park.
Gather a picnic lunch at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro after breakfast at the lodge, and then head out for a full day of wildlife viewing. The game drive will continue until 1700 hours. Among other magnificent creatures, you will have witnessed the Amboseli Jumbo Elephants. Return to the Amboseli Sopa Lodge for an optional activity. Dinner later and spending the night.

Day 7: Return to Nairobi – Departure.
Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the morning before heading out on the morning game drive to take in the dawn and capture some amazing photos. We are confident that you will be able to see Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak, during your two nights in Amboseli. Return to the lodge between 0830 and 0900 am for a full breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi, arriving about 3 pm.
