Our 11 Days Uganda Wildlife Expedition Tour takes you to some of the country’s most well-known national parks, including Lake Mburo for game drives and boat cruises, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for gorilla trekking, Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drives and a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, Kibale for chimp trekking and the Bigodi Wetland Walk, and Murchison Falls for game drives.
Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kampala.
When you arrive, our driver guide will meet you and bring you to your Kampala hotel. Our driver guide will enlighten you about the 11 Days Uganda Wildlife Expedition Tour. Relax and prepare for the next day.
Accommodation: Serena Hotel or Golf Course Hotel.
Meals: (Lunch, Dinner).
Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park, stopping briefly near the equator for photos and easy experiments. Arrive at Lake Mburo National Park in time for a game drive and boat tour of the lake.
Accommodation: Mihingo Safari Lodge or Lake Mburo Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After breakfast, have a wildlife drive through Lake Mburo National Park before continuing on to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in southwest Uganda. You will journey through Uganda’s lush, rolling hills, past banana and tea plantations, and see some breathtaking landscapes. You will be provided lunch while travelling, and you will arrive in Bwindi in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Experience.
After breakfast and packing a lunch, you’ll register at the park headquarters and meet the other trackers at 7:45 a.m. for training on the dos and don’ts of gorilla tracking. To find the gorillas, you and your guides will trek through deep brush and bushes, which might take anywhere from 30 minutes to 34 hours. The highly dense, thickly wooded terrain is crisscrossed with various animal trails that allow people access. Being with these wonderful but vulnerable creatures is a fantastic experience.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
You’ll be visiting Queen Elizabeth National Park this morning; be prepared for some spectacular views. You’ll arrive at the resort in time for lunch and a wildlife drive across the Kasenyi plains in search of savannah animals such as buffalo, antelopes, elephants, and, if you’re lucky, lions and leopards.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat on Kazinga Channel.
You’ll return to the Kasenyi plains this morning for a morning game drive, hoping to spot any species you missed the day before. The resort will serve lunch, and then you should head to the jetty along Kazinga Channel for the afternoon boat cruise. This excursion allows you to witness wildlife that uses the channel for water, such as hippos, waterfowl, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and many other species.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Kibale National Park.
After an early breakfast, drive to the northern bank of Queen Elizabeth National Park to look for wild animals such as elephants, buffalo, and wild cats, as well as savanna birds and various species of antelopes such as waterbucks and Uganda Kobs. After lunch, drive to Kibale Forest National Park and arrive at your lodge in the evening.

Day 8: Chimpanzee Tracking.
After breakfast, you will go to the park headquarters for a briefing with other trackers before being escorted to Kibale Forest National Park to do monkey tracking. This trip allows you to see many of Kibale Forest National Park’s 13 endemic monkey species. Following lunch, you’ll head to Bigodi for a swamp walk. This marsh is owned by the neighbourhood next to the park.

Day 9: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.
You will arrive in Murchison Falls National Park in the late afternoon after passing through small towns and villages and admiring the breathtaking escarpment views.

Day 10: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise.
After a cup of tea in the morning, travel to the northern region, known as para, for a wildlife drive. You can see giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, hippos, and, if you’re lucky, lions and leopards. After returning to the resort for lunch, proceed to the pier for your two-hour boat excursion to the base of the falls to witness how the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge before bursting out, providing an amazing experience.

Day 11: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport – Departure.
Enjoy breakfast before heading to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. You can observe both black and white rhinos here, and then choose to drive back to Kampala or Entebbe Internal Airport while admiring the stunning countryside.
